Emily L. Eickhoff, DDS
Meet Dr. Eickhoff
Dr. Emily L. Eickhoff was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan. A dedicated scholar and athlete, she graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2015, where she competed as a tri-sport collegiate athlete in cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track while also serving in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). Her early commitment to discipline, leadership, and service laid the foundation for her career in the military and surgical excellence.
Dr. Eickhoff earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 2019 on a military scholarship. She went on to complete a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Fort Carson, Colorado, where she refined her clinical skills in comprehensive dental care.
She then pursued advanced surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, completing her residency in 2025. Since graduation, Dr. Eickhoff proudly served as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Fort Riley’s Irwin Army Community Hospital, leading surgical operations and providing complex care to active-duty service members.
Now, with Wichita Oral Surgery, Dr. Eickhoff is operating in one of the newest and most state-of-the-art Oral Surgery clinics in Kansas. She provides exceptional oral surgical care, including wisdom teeth removal and placement of dental implants, under general anesthesia or deep intravenous sedation, to the residents of Wichita, south-central Kansas, and beyond.
Dr. Eickhoff is deeply committed to lifelong learning, completing over 100 hours of Continuing Dental and Medical Education annually. She maintains active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). She is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Eickhoff is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Outside of surgery, Dr. Eickhoff enjoys spending time with her husband and their beloved cat and dog. An avid runner and outdoor enthusiast, she also enjoys hiking, camping, and gardening.
